Jerry Elford, Model Making Studio

J Elford Models was founded in 1985 by Jerry Elford.

It moved to its present address about 13 years ago, a few minutes walk from Coventry City Centre.

The converted buildings we occupy were originally used for grain processing and transporting it by canal in the 18th Century. The Canal Basin is an ideal location, with the tranquil environment allowing creativity to flow.

We can fabricate any type of model, whether stationery or animated, engineering or architectural. Our models have been used for evaluation, technical layout, prototypes and film props.

The majority of our work has been commissioned by medium to large companies, and has been any thing from one-off's to batch runs of a few thousand.

We can guarantee strict confidentiality.

We are able to respond to immense challenges, to supply a variety of diverse solutions to problems and we continually assess and improve our processes at every stage.

As part of our commitment to developing higher standards we successfully applied for ISO 9002 (formerly BS5750) accreditation and received it on May 31st 1996.

In November 1995 we won the highest DTI (UK Department of Trade and Industry) SMART award for innovation.
