 Circus Automaton

Built for a hospital trust in the Coventry area, this machine features a well built trapeze artist, a clown wobbling precariously on a ball and a fantastic human cannon ball.

The machine is placed in a waiting area and is a constant source of amusement to children of all ages.

Funds from the machine are donated to charity.

The human cannon ball flies out of his cannon, narrowly missing the clown.

Coventry Street Scene

This Automaton was built for Coventry Rotary Club and the Coventry City Council.

The machine features a street scene of Coventry, taking some well known locations, a fairground carousel and adding a few amusing moving figures. A man on a bicycle suspended from a balloon flies across the sky, an old-fashioned taxi has a struggling figure trying to start it with a starting handle.

All the action takes place with a back drop of Coventry's three spires, while traditional pipe organ music plays in the background as the carousel turns.

The automaton is on the second floor of the West Orchards Shopping Centre, where many visitors to the city stop and put money into it. All proceeds go to the Rotary and the Lord Mayor's nominated charity.
